Long live Rome

In 2012, after the release of TOPSPRAYER™, which demonstrated how a clearly measurable result could be a great idea for a publication, the writer Aurel Johannes Marx decided to paint 100 pieces in less than 31 days. Having identified the perfect conditions in Rome to accomplish this feat, the VIVA ROMA project was born. This meant: a month in Rome, access to all the spots, 3000 sprays, 2 photographers and being accompanied by the crème de la crème of the German railway scene. In short: the perfect conditions for this madness. While his companions took their time and painted one piece each night, Aurel had to paint two, three or four, and when those actions failed, the next night he had to do even more to reach his quota.
